D. Website statistics- show hundreds of 'spam' hits. Greatest number of hits was the Events page.

Old Business : None

New Business:

A. Election results- All names on the ballot were elected. No new changes, with the exception of Mike McDonald having to drop off as a director.
Also a vote was made to keep the newsletter in printed format in-lieu of switching to an electronic format, due to several members, including this Secretary who do not have personal email accounts.

B. Chapter Events for 2009:
June 14 - Hollister Swap Meet, sponsored by Zoltan Szucs and California Chapter SPAAMFAA.

July 4 - Redwood City. Only one signed up so far. There is no water, therefore no pumping.

September 20 - Citrus Heights swap meet, co-sponsored by California Chapter of SPAAMFAA.

Ed Rominger stated no further pump-in this year at Pleasanton was scheduled.

Firestation/Apparatus tours are pending, working out details for the fall. Chris Cavette reported that the Los Angeles County Fire Museum had a new home in a nicer neighborhood. We would need to work out some details to visit there.

Other events, none mentioned.

C. Other New Business:
1. All Directors voted unanimously to present to our newsletter editor, Chris Cavette, as a token of our appreciation, and a nominal gift was presented for his innovation and hard work, and for 30 years of dedication. Chris made a nice acceptance speech about his love of writing and this hobby.

2. Motion for adjournment was made and delayed.

3. A big heartfelt thank you was given to Ed Rominger for his hard work setting this pump-in up, time and time again.

4. Lathrop wants to start a pump-in. Our President will contact them, via an email.

5. Our Board of Directors meeting was held as a virtual meeting spanning time from Dec. 24, 2008 through Jan. 4, 2009. This made participation 100% for all Board members. This report and all emails were compiled by Gordon Oakley, to be sent to National SPAAMFAA as an innovation started in California because of the shear size and geography of the State.

Adjournment: - at 1321 hours

Program: The pump-in continued, shooting water over the top of the drill tower.
