Board of Directors Virtual Business Meeting Minutes
Throughout California
December 1, 2011 - December 31, 2011
Meeting called into session, via email, December 1, 2011, by President Will Radcliffe. All Officers and Directors listed on first page of roster were notified.
Minutes of the general membership meeting from March 26, in San Jose, were accepted as posted on Web site. The Minutes were also re-sent via emailed for reference.
Reports:
A. Treasurer - Balance at November 30, 2011 was $4,881.73, balance same time last year 2010, was $5,891.68, showing a decrease of $1,000.00. Our major expenses are the printing and distribution of the newsletters, notices, and roster, while our only significant income is from dues.
B. Newsletter Editor - Approximately 275 members have paid their dues to date.
C. Secretary - Reporting all National SPAAMFAA paperwork was filed on time. The 2011 report is due at the end of January 2012. Historian was contacted by one gentleman from Reno who was attempting to located information regarding a 1936- 1938 ALF.
D. Web Site Statistics - None presented.

A. Nominations: Jim Henery, David Kromka, Jack Reeves, and Paul George all up for re-election as directors.

May 5 (Sat).Virginia City, NV. 4th Annual Police Memorial Week Parade and Restored Emergency Vehicle Show. 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Parade at 12 noon.

C. Other New Business:
Discussed formatting the newsletter in an electronic version, that might be e-mailed. It was again decided that No changes will be made to current format. However this item will be revisited for discussion at the General membership meeting March 31, 2012.
Discussion held for 1,000 new applications to be printed at a cost of $200.00. Approved.
Discussion held of obtaining new members, young and old. We need approximately 325-350 members to break even on current newsletter costs.
